About 5.11 Tactical uniform fabrics:
5.11 Tactical poly/wool uniforms feature different fabric blends for use in shirts and pants. The pants feature an 8.6-oz. gabardine weave that is durable, wrinkle-resistant and machine washable. The pant fabric is a blend of 54% polyester/44% wool/-2% Lycra® spandex. Shirt fabric is the same blend, but in a 5.9-oz. plain weave. Like the pants, the shirt fabric has a soft hand and is machine washable.
5.11 Tactical poly/rayon uniforms utilize distinct fabric blends. The P/R pant material is a 7.4-oz., 65% polyester/35% rayon twill weave and has the same soft, comfortable feel and durability as the shirt. It also features Teflon® treatment. Our P/R shirt fabric is a 5.9-oz., 64% polyester/34% rayon/2% Lycra® spandex plain weave with a Teflon® finish. This produces a soft-handed fabric that is durable and wrinkle resistant. Polyester fibers hold their color for a long time, and Teflon® helps prevent stains.
